People are always asking me who I follow on Twitter (especially in light of Twitter’s crackdown on conservatives). Why? I have no idea.
But regardless, I’ve written up a short list of the top 10 right wing people that I follow on Twitter, and you should to.
I say right wing because I think this list represents a decent diversity of conservative voices (from nationalists, to libertarians, to republicans and the new right).
1. Ann Coulter
She’s the author of many influential conservative (nationalistic) books such as Adios America. She’s a must-follow.
2. Stefan Molyneux
I don’t always agree with him (think he has some wacky niche ideas), but he consistently provides good, up to date commentary. And he’s funny too.
3. Mark Steyn
He’s probably my favorite debater and conservative writer. He’s very articulate, and doesn’t screw around.
4. Nassim Taleb
He’s not really a conservative commentator per se, he’s an anti-intellectual intellectual who gravitates to conservative solutions (on account of his vast learning). He also loves getting into fights, which is always fun.
5. Robert Spencer (not Richard Spencer, people often get them confused)
He’s a religious scholar who specializes in Islam, and generally talks about issues regarding Islamic extremism. He’s a good source of news if you’re interested in that.
6. Ben Shapiro
In all honesty, I actually can’t stand Ben Shapiro. I think he’s a pompous ass. That being said, there’s no denying that he’s an intellectual force who’s fighting the good fight, and he puts out a lot of great, current material. So, begrudgingly, I’m putting him in my top 10.
7. James Woods
Yup, the actor. I’ll be honest, I actually thought this was a joke account when I first saw it: how could a Hollywood actor be so based? But it’s not. James Woods is a Twitter hero.
8. Lauren Southern
Blonde, bold, beautiful. My type of woman. But in all seriousness, she’s going places. She’s fearless and honest, and represents the new face of young conservatism.
9. Rand Paul
I’m not a libertarian by any stretch of the imagination: I’m a classical conservative and a nationalist. But I respect Rand Paul, and I think he’s about as able-bodied as they come on Twitter. I also think it’s good to have some diversity in the opinions you follow.
10. President Donald Trump
Of course President Trump is going to be on this list, he’s a Twitter fiend. If you don’t have Trump on your list, you’re just sticking your head in the sand.
Bonus: Spencer P Morrison
You should follow me. I’m the king.
